Job Profile
The Technical Manager will be responsible for leading the design, development, and validation of Lithium-Ion (Li-ion) battery packs, Battery Management Systems (BMS), and related power electronics specifically for Solar applications. This role involves managing R&D and validation projects from concept to delivery, ensuring products comply with performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
R&D Management: Oversee R&D projects from concept to delivery, managing timelines, resources, and budgets.

R&D Management: Oversee R&D projects from concept to delivery, managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
Li-ion Battery System Development: Lead the design and development of Li-ion battery pack prototypes for stationary applications, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards. o Expertise in cell selection and characterization and BMS selection/technical evaluation.
Power Electronics & Product Development: Drive electronics hardware development and improvement in products like Inverters (Hybrid, grid-tie, solar PCU), and online/offline UPS
Testing, Validation & Troubleshooting: Lead the validation and testing of new products, including Lithium Batteries, Solar Hybrid, On Grid & Off Grid Inverters. o Expertise in failure analysis, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve product reliability. o Conduct lab and field testing for performance, safety, and durability.
Testing, Quality, and Compliance
Testing, Validation & Troubleshooting: Lead the validation and testing of new products, including Lithium Batteries, Solar Hybrid, On Grid & Off Grid Inverters. o Expertise in failure analysis, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve product reliability. o Conduct lab and field testing for performance, safety, and durability.
Process & Quality Improvement: Drive process setup and improvement, including implementing quality methodologies such as Kaizen and Poka-Yoke for product and process development. o Responsible for process flow chart development and documentation.
Certification & Compliance: o Ensure compliance with MNRE, BIS, and other regulatory bodies. o Coordinate for necessary safety, environmental, and performance certifications.
Collaboration & Support
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing teams to integrate customer feedback, communicate project progress to senior management, and coordinate with vendors for raw material perfection.
Technical Support & Training: Serve as technical point-of-contact for internal teams and channel partners. Develop technical manuals, installation guides, and training content for installers and distributors.
Education: B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or Power Systems

Experience & Skills: Experience 8–12 years’ experience in design and development, testing and validation, analysis and troubleshooting, and product engineering.

Technical Skills: Design, NPD (New Product Development), Testing, and Validation. Electronics hardware development and selection of components.
Compliance: Familiarity with MNRE guidelines, IEC/BIS certifications, and
