Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with strong MEP coordination expertise to manage on-site civil works and lead MEP-intensive construction coordination. The role requires hands-on site supervision, in-depth knowledge of MEP integration with civil and architectural works, and the ability to resolve complex on-site coordination challenges for construction projects in Makkah.
Key Responsibilities (Civil + MEP Heavy):
Civil Construction Responsibilities:
• Supervise and execute all civil and structural works including RCC, masonry, finishing, and external works.
• Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, BOQs, method statements, and specifications.
• Monitor site quality, safety, manpower productivity, and construction progress.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site supervisors.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
MEP–Heavy Coordination Responsibilities:
• Lead complete MEP coordination including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
• Review and coordinate MEP shop drawings with civil and architectural drawings.
• Ensure execution of MEP openings, sleeves, embeds, trenches, and penetrations prior to concreting.
• Manage clash detection and resolution between civil, architectural, and MEP works.
• Supervise MEP installations during RCC, blockwork, and finishing stages.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and snag closure.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi codes, project specifications, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of on-site construction experience.
• Proven exposure to MEP-heavy building projects.
Experience Requirement:
• Minimum 3 years of site-based experience in civil construction.
• Mandatory experience in MEP coordination for building, hotel, or commercial projects.
Skills & Competencies:
• Ability to read and interpret civil, architectural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Practical knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Low-Current systems.
