Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Plant Administration Manager to oversee the end-to-end administrative and industrial relations functions at our manufacturing facility in Nashik. The role involves managing contract labour, ensuring labour law compliance, and maintaining harmonious relations with unions and local authorities while driving operational excellence at the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Plant Administration & Operations
Oversee all administrative functions at the plant, including facilities, security, housekeeping, canteen, transport, and accommodation.
Ensure effective management of plant infrastructure, vendor contracts, and maintenance services.
Monitor cost control measures and optimize administrative budgets.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth plant operations in line with ISO, safety, and statutory standards.

Contract Labour & Statutory Compliance
Manage the entire contract staffing process — from contractor selection and onboarding to compliance audits.
Ensure adherence to all statutory regulations under the Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, ESIC, PF, Minimum Wages Act, and other relevant labour laws.
Maintain statutory registers, returns, and documentation as per compliance norms.
Conduct periodic audits of contractors’ compliance and address discrepancies proactively.

Handle day-to-day union interactions, grievance redressal, and employee representation.
Drive collective bargaining, settlement negotiations, and disciplinary proceedings in line with company policy and legal frameworks.
Maintain a peaceful industrial environment through proactive communication and engagement.
Liaise with labour departments, legal authorities, and local bodies for statutory and IR matters.

Ensure effective implementation of employee welfare schemes (canteen, transport, medical, housing, etc.).

Support the HR team in training programs and policy communication at the plant level.

Key Skills & Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of Labour Laws, Factory Act, and IR practices
Strong experience in contract workforce management
Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage unions and external stakeholders tactfully
Proficient in MS Office, SAP (preferred), and documentation management
Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
