Job Description: Manager - Decoration Department

Location: Govindgarh, Jaipur

Key Purpose of the Position

The key purpose of this position is to manage the Decoration operation and to set production targets for the shift/day/month.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and reviewing decoration production with respect to PPC plan.
• Reviewing deco production, efficiency, rejections, and developing action plans accordingly.
• Organizing, assigning, and supervising the job of shift supervisors.
• Ensuring efficient workflow in the decoration department in coordination with decal, white ware, packaging, tempering, and packing sections to achieve planned finished goods output.
• Reviewing the quality of deco production through QC tools.
• Analyzing rejections and developing action plans to reduce them as per SOP.
• Maintaining housekeeping standards on the shop floor through 5S methodology.
• Training and skill development of supervisors, line supervisors, and decal pasters.
• Reviewing regularity and attrition of decoration manpower.
• Reviewing and certifying wages.
• Taking accountability for deco shop floor inventory.
• Ensuring the execution and revision of deco SOPs.
• Ensuring the safety, maintenance, and repair of departmental equipment.
• Performing other decoration-related duties as assigned.
• Important CompetenciesUnderstanding different methods, practices, and procedures used in decoration production.
• Knowledge of pasting procedures and troubleshooting in decoration jobs.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and present production-related data.
• Strong verbal communication, demonstration skills, and written communication abilities.
• Academic & Professional QualificationsGraduate/Postgraduate from a science background.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
• ExperienceMore than 10 years of experience in manufacturing units in a relevant field.
