Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager in Process Design to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process design for large-scale water treatment plants. You will be responsible for overseeing detailed and basic engineering packages, generating cost estimates and BOQs, and managing large-scale municipal, desalination, and reverse osmosis (RO) projects.Key Responsibilities:Process Design: Lead the design process for large water treatment facilities including STP and RO plants.
Detailed Engineering: Oversee detailed engineering processes, ensuring adherence to technical standards and project specifications.
Cost and BOQ Generation: Generate accurate cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for various projects.
Project Management: Manage projects from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with client requirements.
Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams throughout project lifecycles.
Responsibilities: Should have experience in:
Process Design for Bigger Plants
Detailed Engineering
Basic Engineering Packages
Cost, BOQ Generation
Handled min 50 MLD STP or RO Equivalent to 10 MLD
Municipal, Desalination, RO Ready Plant
Worked on min 20 – 25 SWD
-The hiring process includes 2 technical rounds and one HR round, with one face-to-face interview.
-Candidates should have a consistent and stable employment history in their previous organization.
Preparing, reviewing necessary process calculations and process design.
Prepare the Proposal defining the treatment chain and Pre-bidding Costing.
Working on Raw/waste/portable water treatment and conveyance including:- planning, process evaluation, detailed design.
Designing of WTP Equipment
Should not be from Site or Project Management or O&M
Who is an ideal candidate ?
The ideal candidate will have 15 to 25 years of experience in process design within the water treatment industry, with a solid understanding of engineering principles and project management. They should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to lead complex projects from inception to completion. Excellent communication and leadership abilities will be critical for fostering collaboration within teams and engaging with clients.
