Purpose of the job
To lead the planning and execution of sales and marketing strategies, ensuring achievement of sales targets and effective collection operations across diverse markets and product lines. Responsible for cultivating key account relationships, driving team performance, and aligning sales and marketing initiatives with overarching business goals and market dynamics.
Role Responsibilities
To develop and execute comprehensive Sales & Marketing strategies in collaboration with Management, focusing on new customer acquisition and expansion into export markets.
To design specific growth plans and strategies for product categories and target markets, outlining volume, value targets, and service level expectations.
To formulate and implement a key account management strategy for relevant product categories, fostering strong client relationships and maximizing sales opportunities.
To drive visibility initiatives through participation in exhibitions, industry forums, and awareness campaigns to enhance market presence and influence.
To collaborate with the Central Marketing Team to conduct competitor and customer analysis, industry benchmarking, and trend assessments to refine strategies and tactics.
To partner with the Design & Development Head to introduce new products and enhancements aligned with customer requirements, ensuring continuous value creation.
To prepare detailed sales plans in conjunction with Operations and Production Heads, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
To monitor sales revenue projections, performance against budgets, and incentive policies, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets.
To integrate market intelligence, pricing strategies, and demand forecasts to optimize market segmentation and resource allocation for effective sales efforts.
To oversee marketing and sales operations to ensure high customer satisfaction, conducting regular reviews to maintain quality, cost, and delivery standards.
To support Regional Sales Managers in critical customer engagements and commercial negotiations to secure key sales deals.
To facilitate communication of customer feedback to relevant departments, fostering continuous improvement and responsiveness.
To manage accurate maintenance of sales data across all product categories and markets, supporting informed decision-making and strategic planning.
To lead CRM initiatives and oversee their implementation to enhance customer relationships and retention strategies.
Measures of SuccessAchievement of sales targets and revenue growth across all product categories and geographies, including new customer acquisitions and export market expansions.
Successful execution of visibility initiatives, evidenced by increased brand presence and influence in exhibitions, industry forums, and awareness campaigns.
Enhanced customer satisfaction and retention, demonstrated through effective key account management, timely feedback responses, and successful CRM initiatives.
Consistent alignment of sales plans with organizational objectives, and efficient coordination with Operations and Production Heads to ensure smooth execution and delivery

12-15 years of experience overall, in similar Industry (6-8 years of experience in Sales & Marketing role for Glass Industry)
